PROJECTS
Dales Park Signs
Ashbourne is our home town. So when we were invited to take part in one of the nicest projects the town has seen, we were more than happy to take up the invitation.
Each sign in the pair is 4.5m long and 650mm high. They feature reverse V cut letters, a chamfered boarder and sparrow pecked background. The end result is brilliant and we were over the moon with them
Abersoch Doorway
Based in the lovely Welsh seaside town of Abersoch, this entrance was a great project to work on. After going back and forth on the choice of stone it was settled upon Peakmoor, from Derbyshire, You're unlikey to see such a stone in the town mainly due to Wales' abundance of slate and granite, hopefully a trend has now been set! The doorway stands at 3m tall, 2.4m wide and weighs an impressive 1890kg.
Curved bench
On the 27th November 2012 the River Elway flowing through St Asaph in north Wales flooded 322 houses, 32 businesses and unfortunately one life was lost. The curved bench was installed on the banks of the River Elway during the refurbishment and reinforcement of the city's flood defences.
With a width of six meters, the bench is a lovely place to sit in the summer and enjoy the sunshine.
Aga surround
Situated inside a beautiful Jacobean manor house in Staffordshire, this AGA surround was a pleasure to work on. Draped in traditional gothic style moldings and fitted with 1mm joints its sharp edges create a fantastic overall finishing look.
